With the purchase of every 3D Stuffmaker 3D printer and 3D printer kit, we supply a very detailed assembly instruction manual. We also have our Skype technical support team on standby, so you can ask any extra questions. Along with your printer, you will also receive .stl files for various print types to help you get started. We also include 3D Stuffmaker Easy Print software for windows. If you have any trouble setting up your 3D printer, just contact support!
We give a warranty that you will receive all parts to build a fully working unit and that every part left the factory after extensive testing. If you have an issue, just contact our Skype video support team for assistance. We're happy to ship spare parts free if they fail due to faulty manufacture. We also offer technical assistance and a broad range of spare parts to keep you printing. We do not accept any claims which go beyond what is offered above. Wear and tear and item abuse are not covered. Warranty exclusions *The printing hot end is hot and can burn you. Use with caution. Using this devise is like using a soldering hot iron, and safety precautions are needed for its safe operation. This unit is not a toy. It is a tool, and like any other tool adult safety and child or student supervision is needed to operate it safely.
For the last 5 years, we have worked on an industrial miniaturization and CNC project that uses technology similar to reprap. 3D Stuffmaker's first 3D printers were based on RepRap blue prints, but we have evolved a lot since then! Compared to our current models, they were based on loose experimental ideas. Our engineers have since spent countless hours re-engineering almost all parts, software and electronics so that we can provide you with reliable, low cost 3D printers. We have some of the most affordable and user-friendly printers around.
Our 3d printers require basic lubrication and cleaning. Heating elements can burn out if used outside the operating range, but can be easily replaced. The usual machine precautions apply to our 3d printer kits. Treat it with respect and it will perform at its peak. For lubrication, just wipe bearing shafts with a soft, light, soft cloth every month, to keep them shiny. Put a drop of light sewing machine (or mineral) oil on 'x z y' threaded rods and slide bearings every month. Hot end tip life depends on proper heat regulation.
1KG of PLA is about 100m long in 3mm form. That is about the volume of a 1.5 liter milk carton if printing a solid object. When printing a honeycomb object it can be 10 times this volume or 100 times if the object is totally hollow. A standard nozzle extrudes about 2.5 meters per minute.
We use PLA in our 3d printers. PLA (Poly Lactic Acid) is an ideal material to use in 3D printers. It's a biodegradable polymer derived from 100% renewable resources. It’s even suitable for composts! We offer 1kg spools in BLACK, CLEAR, WHITE, GREY, GREEN, ORANGE, BLUE, PINK, PURPLE, RED, IVORY, YELLOW. We also have some great pecial Colours that glow in the dark! - 1KG of PLA is about 100m long in 3mm form. That is about the volume of a 1.5 liter milk carton if printing a solid object. When printing a honeycomb object, it can be 10 times this volume or even 100 times if the object is totally hollow.

- Coloured PLA is stronger and prints better than optically clear PLA.
- Clear PLA It is somewhat self-lubricating when in sliding contact with metal surfaces.

There is much conjecture about this topic but it is mostly based on wrong assumptions and observations. To achieve the best prints, we use the Light duty print plate for small to medium printed parts (simply submerge the print plate in water and the 3Dprint comes off neatly). For larger prints we use the Medium Duty or the Heavy Duty print plave. They have more grip and keep medium to large prints firmly in place.
