In her very first race in two years, Paula Radcliffe, the 40 year old world record holder made her comeback this Sunday running strong at the Worcester City 10k race. Radcliffe had a pair of RS Print’s 3D printed insoles to support her every move. These insoles were designed on the basis of an analysis of her dynamic gait, thereby enabling her to cross the finish line within 35 minutes and 49 seconds.

The products are based on the dynamic measurement foot scans and thereafter customized to support the distinct gait of the individual runner. Radcliffe’s participation in this race was part of her training to make it to the 2015 London Marathon next April.

For years, Radcliffe has been working with RS Scan to push the boundaries of modern athletic footwear. With almost 2 decades experience in world class athletics, she knows the importance of utilizing the latest technology. Radcliffe has won the New York and London Marathons 3 times, the 2005 World Championship, and is the world record holder for the 10k road race.
