3D Stuffmaker uses Kapton Tape to seal our Light Duty Print Plates, as well as protect and insulate the nozzles. You may want to purchase  extra kapton tape for re-sealing your print plate or nozzle.

Benefits of using Kapton tape:

• PLA sticks to kapton tape when hot, but releases after cooling
• Kapton tape is a high temperature insulation tape
• It uses a silicon based adhesive to withstand high temperatures up to 260 degrees cescius
• It can also be used as a general purpose electrical tape
