e-NABLE, an inspiring 3D printing collective recently unveiled its brand new and very cool looking prosthetic that, like so many of their creations, highlight the infinite possibilities that 3D printing and creativity have to offer. This prosthetic in particular was developed by Debbie Leung, an electrical engineer who for the past year has been experimenting with 3D printing technology.

Her original “Light Show Hand” derives its basis from the typical Upper Limb Prosthetics that e-NABLE have made freely available at Thingiverse. However, this construction in particular features a number of modifications. First of all, its actual exterior presently features 2 little add-on designs. One displays the Iron Man Arc Light, while the other features the e-NABLE heart hand shake logo. Both designs emphasize that prosthetics do not just have to be functional, but can also be customized to look the way we want them to look.
e-NABLE is a community working hard towards a noble cause. They provide children and adults with missing limbs with access to 3D printing enthusiasts the world over. Their talents and creativity develop low-cost, functional prosthetics for those that need them. With these great designs, the volunteer team at e-NABLE is assisting the needy on an individual level.
